Hotel Altstadtwiege in Hameln's old city offers a charming stay, with a focus on practicality over extravagance. Our 3-bedroom apartment on the top floor provided ample space, though the lack of an elevator could pose a challenge for some guests. The rooftop terrace was a nice touch, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the picturesque Altstadt. On the downside, some areas could benefit from a more thorough housekeeping routine.While amenities like free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs were appreciated, the absence of ironing facilities was a minor inconvenience. The heating worked well, ensuring a cozy atmosphere during our visit. The staff's accommodating nature shone through, making our interactions pleasant and efficient.Hotel Altstadtwiege strikes a fair balance between value and luxury. For those seeking a budget-friendly option in a prime location, this hotel is a suitable choice.
